Born in 1992 and raised in the beautifull village of Bakkeveen in the Netherlands, Pascal got into music from a very early age. Thanks to his father, Pascal was immersed in the rock and blues traditions. At the age of eight, Pascal started taking guitar lessons with his main inspirator, guitarist Eddy Mulder.

At age 18, Pascal started his studies in music education after which he headed to the city of Zwolle to study Jazz&Pop Guitar at the ArtEZ Conservatory. Studying under Hans Voogt and Henk van Bethem, here he also had the chance to follow masterclasses with Nir Felder, Lage Lund, Snarky Puppy, Allen Hinds, Larry Coryell and Nelson Faria. While in Zwolle, Pascal performed with the five-piece metalband ‘Neckbreak Nation’ with whom he recorded Stroke of the Devils Hour, which was released in 2013 by the Danish metal-label ‘Mighty Music’.

Not only a performer, Pascal is a teacher as well. Specialized in orthopedagogy and working with children with special needs, he finished his minor ‘Orthopedagogical music teacher’ in 2016 and studies the science of education (Bildungswissenschaften) at the Uni Wien.

Pascal resides in Vienna, Austria. He currently performs as a duo with his significant other, Silke Gert. They explore a mix of songs from the Great American Songbook, country, Austropop and popular songs as well as original material. Furthermore he works on a project ‘Eleison’ with drummer Laurens de Groote.

Pascal is heavily inspired by Shawn Lane, Steve Howe, Allan Holdsworth, Tosin Abasi, Yngwie Malmsteen among others.
